Good job there wasn't any livestock on the railway in Scotland this afternoon.

With all those gales blowing, the cows would have been over the moon.

I was lucky, travelling from Stockport to Bristol via Newport, FGW terminated a Swansea train at Newport and sent it back to Padd so I was actually early ... until the connection from Birmingham was delayed due to the Penkridge dewiring.
