Last week, my computer engineer installed a brand new HP tower system and after two day, this pop-up appears constantly on Microsoft Edge. Has anyone any ideas about it?

No, I am happy with Edge. Copilot is nothing I am interested in whatsoever.

If you don't use Copilot, go into Control Panel on your PC and uninstall it.

You can remove all of the Windows 11 bloat with a free utility called ‘Sparkle’. It allows you to unpic all the unwanted AI carp and has worked well for me for 2 years (where MS updates re-install the bloat again)!
Good luck with removing it completely. Microsoft has been quite persistent about trying to force Copilot on everyone.

I believe you can do exactly as SargeNpton says. Start > Add or Remove Programs ... find Co Pilot and uninstall. Pretty sure that's what I did and I see no evidence of it being here on my Win11 Home system here.
That's a change then. When it was initially rolled out to PCs it was almost impossible to remove completely. A bit of quick Google-fu suggests that they made it easier to remove with an update back in April/May.

It was only last week that the computer engineer installed the new HP desktop tower and this afternoon, he returned to delete Copilot entirely from the new system.
