I believe the late night TPE services do stop. (Merseyrail City Line Booklet 4)
How many trains dont call at Gatwick Apt or Haywards Heath?![]()
Yes, that service in the evening definitely calls at Derby; it's the morning one that I'm not sure about (but I've definitely observed one running through non-stop).The last Nottm-Leeds service I think goes via Derby, but calls![]()
Runcorn anybody?
There may not be a grottier place in the country, but I can't think of anything non-stop

Even the 7am headline non-stop from Lime Street to Euston stops to pick up.....

Westhoughton and Hindley
Winsford/Hartford

What's the problem with York? It has a population of 195,000 and links into several other local services.
4tph Milngavie-Edinburgh (only two call at Caldercruix, Armadale and Blackridge)
2tph Helensburgh Ctl-Airdrie
Confirmed

Re: Berwick, yeah, but it always seems to get more stops than Alnmouth (serving Alnwick and its castle and tourit coast), but I suppose it is more 'important'. Quietest First Class Lounge in GB at Berwick?
I'm sure some East Coast and/or XC emit Haymarket, they certainly used to, but I'm not sure which.
IIRC platform 4 wasn't long enough to hold a 225 (that's the version I was given anyhow)
Most stop at Haymarket now. The 91 hangs off the end of platform 3 but the coaches are all on. Platform 1 was extended and can take full hst at the same time as platform 1 was done.
I don't understand why Preston is compulsory stop yet Lancaster isn't, Lancaster's more important as a large city.
