Hi everyone!
I was caught in some delays in the south on the 23rd June and I don't understand which company I should claim the Delay Repay with.
My planned journey was:
Portsmouth Harbour 17:17 - Basingstoke 18:42 (SWR train)
Basingstoke 18:48 - Reading 19:05 (XC train)
However, the XC train was cancelled, but the SWR train was delayed by 7 minutes so I would have missed the connection anyways.
My actual journey in the end was:
Portsmouth Harbour 17:19 - Basingstoke 18:49 (SWR train)
Basingstoke 19:10 - Reading 19:35 (GWR train)
If it's relevant, I had an advance ticket for Portsmouth-Basingstoke and used the return leg of an off-peak day return for Basingstoke-Reading.
Also, BRtimes says the minimum interchange time at Basingstoke is 5 minutes so I think my original itinerary should have been valid.
Thank you!
