I’m sorry but if you’re not prepared to give me an answer and are just being pedantic because you don’t like the sound of me claiming money leave the thread, you aren’t any help to me.

I’ll always claim money when i’m not provided with the service I paid for. That’s that.

I cannot see anywhere where people don't like the sound of you claiming money, some in the thread are not rail staff so couldn't care less whether you want to claim or not.

So, of course you want to claim money when you don't receive the service you have paid for. You started the thread, presumably you wanted help and people are offering it. Provide the information they request and stop being so defensive.

If you want advice, the best thing to do is to make it clear from the outset what your intended journey was, and what ticket(s) were held, and what time you actually arrived at your destination and details of which parts of the journey did not convey 1st class accommodation.

For example something like this:
Intended journey:

xxxx Norwich
xxxx Cambridge

xxxx Cambridge
xxxx Stansted

Tickets held:

Origin - Destination ticket type class price

Actual arrival time into destination: xxxx (xx minutes late)

If you cannot provide all the information, then please provide as much as possible.

And please, be polite! Thanks.

Again this is all completely different to the two versions of events presented so far.

Your intended itinerary was a rather convoluted one:

Norwich 1535
Cambridge 1659

Cambridge 1721
Bishops Stortford 1758

Bishops Stortford 1818
Stansted Airport 1827

Looks like your train departed Norwich late, and got to Cambridge at 1721. At that point, given the apparent delays, it would have been advisable to go direct to Stansted Airport rather than deviate via Bishops Stortford. Did you get a bus to Stansted Airport and what time did it arrive ?

Did any of the trains not convey 1st class accommodation or was the issue just with the bus?

I think you are entitled to something but it would be difficult to calculate what exactly.

My issue is having to go on a bus and not being provided a 1st class option throughout.

How do I get compensated for this?
As stated above by @maniacmartin, write to Greater Anglia at their customer services address, noting the details of the service and enclose the tickets, and ask to receive back the difference in fares for the affected section(s) of the journey.
