Well, since those two closed stations have now been named, let us pretend they were in the correct order, so the next closed station will be....

We now access the NER Leamside Line.

Incidentally the station of Durham Turnpike is incorrectly positioned on the Wikipedia template for the Stanhope & Tyne Railway. It was actually at the point where the railway crossed the line of the Roman road heading for the Tyne crossing, between Pelton and Vigo and just east of the crossing of the ECML I recall checking this on OS maps. The Wikipedia entry for the station posittions it correctly in both absolute (Lat & Long) terms and relative to the stations either side of it.
