I did wonder how we'd jumped linesThat is not a station on the line that we have just joined...The East Suffolk Railway (as per the journey preamble)
It will appear later in the journey when we will be traversing the GER Ipswich to E ly Line.
From Six Mile Bottom to the connecting line to the GER West Anglia Main Line, there are two closed stations,,,,the first of these being....Fulbourn
HINT ... Remember what the journey preamble says about the next line we traverse.....the GER West Anglia Main LineAbington station is one upon which much discussion has ensued over the years on at least two websites. There it is still a current thought that that named station is nothing but an area name given to the second of the two aforementioned closed stations ....... Bourne Bridge
That temporary station was only opened for a day or so for the 1922 Royal Agricultural Show of England and is similar to the similarly extremely short-lived station of Congleton Upper Junction, which after discussion, was ruled as a non-valid posting upon this particular quiz.Trumpington
I am wondering if we could have also called at Maldon East and Heybridge as well....but to continue....Maldon West
