Abington station is one upon which much discussion has ensued over the years on at least two websites. There it is still a current thought that that named station is nothing but an area name given to the second of the two aforementioned closed stations ....... Bourne Bridge

That temporary station was only opened for a day or so for the 1922 Royal Agricultural Show of England and is similar to the similarly extremely short-lived station of Congleton Upper Junction, which after discussion, was ruled as a non-valid posting upon this particular quiz.

The next line we traverse is the GER Bishop's Stortford to Braintree Line.
