We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 1982 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Old Meldrum
It follows the line of the Inverurie and Old Meldrum Railway
It then follows the line of the Great North of Scotland Railway Main Line...via Kintore (1st station)
It then follows the line of the GNoS Denburn Valley Line...via Kittybrewster (3rd station)
It then follows the line of the Aberdeen Railway...via Cove Bay
It then follows the line of the Arbroath and Forfar Railway...via Guthrie
It then follows the line of the Scottish Midland Junction Railway...via Forfar
It then follows the line of the Alyth Railway...via Meigle
The journey ends at the closed station of Alyth

The first closed station on this journey is Old Meldrum
