We next move to England for the next journey.....
This is number 1983 in the series so far.....
The journey starts at the closed station of Topcliffe
It follows the line of the Leeds and Thirsk Railway
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Northallerton Railway...via Melmerby
It then follows the line of the NER Harrogate to Church Fenton Line...via Crimple
It then follows the line of the NER Wetherby to Cross Gates Line...via Wetherby (Linton Road)
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Selby Railway...via Halton Dial
It then follows the line of the Leeds, Bradford and Halifax Junction Railway...via Holbeck High Level...via Stanningly...via Bowling
It then follows the line of the LYR Pickle Bridge Line...via Wyke and Norwood Green
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Leeds Railway...via Cooper Bridge...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Ashton, Stalybridge and Liverpool Junction Railway...via Park
It then follows the line of the LNWR Droylsden to Stockport Line...via Audenshaw (LNWR) (1888-1905)
It then follows the line of the LNWR/NSR Manchester to Stafford Line...via Poynton (Midway)....note that two stations are covered by Rule 17
It then follows the line of the LNWR Stafford to Shrewsbury Line...via Haughton
It then follows the line of the Shrewsbury and Welshpool Railway...via Hanwood
It then follows the line of the Oswestry and Newtown Railway...via Buttington
It then follows the line of the ONR Kerry Branch Line...via Ffronfraith Halt
