I am having difficulty in tracing a closed Keith Junction station. We have just accessed the line of the Great North of Scotland Railway Main Line.

Keith railway station itself is still an open station.

Keith Junction was, I think, an earlier name for Keith station which is still open.

It was the second of the Kittybrewster station sites (1856-1867) the way we are traversing, as per the journey preamble.

Aberdeen Waterloo.

Our special train now traverses the dockside lines, reversing on Waterloo Quay* and passing alongside (but not, I think, through) the closed station of Aberdeen Guild Street on our way to Ferryhill.

Edit: * after 1953 the reversal might have been avoided by going across the St Clements Bridge at the entrance to the Victoria Dock.
