Osmondthorpe Halt
Prior to that was Halton Dial (1851-1864).....but to continue.....
Marsh Lane
Batley Carr
Would we not have first called into the Batley (GNR) station....?
From what I can see, the GNR station consisted of two extra platforms on the same site as and parallel to the LNWR platforms, which still exist. Should that count?
(Rule 6)....If two fairly adjacent but totally autonomous stations were opened by railway companies as two distinct stations albeit close to each other such as in the two Scottish cases of Motherwell Bridge and Motherwell (W&CR) and that of Kittybrewster (3rd station) and Kittybrewster (1st station) and the case of Batley (LNWR)(still open) and Batley (GNR)(now closed) stations (also noting the time differential of the closed station of Windsor Bridge, Pendleton and the much later opened station of Salford Crescent), then these must be viewed as separate entities and are allowed on this quiz.
