NOTE: The closed station of Aberbargoed is incorrectly positioned on the Wikipedia template. It is shown on this line but was actually on the B&MJR branch to Rhymney.

UPDATED INFORMATION

There is now a Wikipedia article on the Aber Bargoed railway station that appears to be a bone of contention. At the start of the article, it states......

Aber Bargoed railway station was a small railway station in the valleys north of Cardiff. Opened as Aber Bargoed by the Brecon and Merthyr Junction Railway, the station went through several changes of name before closure. Despite the similarity in the name, it is not the Bargoed station now open on the line to Rhymney.
