So it does, but the template for the Huddersfield Line (which covers the whole route from Leeds Central to Farnley Junction) still shows it as a goods station.

Please look again at the template for the Huddersfield Line. You will note the Copley goods station actually lies on the LNWR line from Leeds to Cottingley, which is not the line that we are on. The line on the template to the right of that line is the LNWR Leeds New Line that we are currently on and I am informed that Copley Hill passenger and goods station were omitted from the Huddersfield template as that LNWR Leeds New Line was only added as a general comparative reference to the main line of the template from Leeds to Cottingley.

I will PM you about that as well.

Bradley Junction (reverse)

Note - the connection between the Leeds New Line and the Manchester & Leeds at Heaton Lodge Junction/Heckmondwike Junction faces away from Leeds, so this seems like the best way round.

NOTE: Judging by the 1852 1:1250 OS map, Doncaster Cherry Tree Lane was configured as a terminus, with an island platform flanked by two running lines which ended in a headshunt in the Doncaster direction. This is not surprising as it was a temporary arrangement pending agreement of running powers over the GNR to Doncaster main station. It appears to have become a goods station, with exactly the same track layout visible until 1962, after which it was demolished. Doncaster St James Bridge was built later on a parallel alignment on the through tracks to the GNR so would have been a valid posting, I think.

UPDATE: My apologies. Access to a better copy of the 1851 map has revealed the word "Platforms" between the through lines at Cherry Tree Lane, so it looks though there was a temporary platform there. It must have been extremely narrow and presumably was accessed by walking across the tracks, but things were less formal in those days!
