Portobello

A bit of a quandary here - are we on the original E&D route via Portobello (1st station) or the NBR line via the 2nd station? I will go for the latter. Then we have had long discussions before about Joppa (1st station) and I can't recall the conclusion so I will play it safe and go for:

Niddry

PS - should we not have passed Jock's Lodge before Portobello?

I think that checking with two sources at the time, it was decided that there was not a Joppa passenger station on the line of the Edinburgh and Dalkeith Railway but there was a goods station and the currently open station of Brunstane was built on part of the land area occupied by that site.

The Joppa station normally referred to is on the line of the North British Railway.
