I think we missed Blaenrhondda after passing Blaengwynfi and traversing the Rhondda Tunnel. (There seems to be a serious possibility of this being reopened as a cycle route)

Although in accordance with the preamble for this journey we didn't look for closed stations on the TVR main line there actually seem to be seven possibilities worth investigating before a next visit.

Although in accordance with the preamble for this journey we didn't look for closed stations on the TVR main line there actually seem to be seven possibilities worth investigating before a next visit.

On the line of the Taff Vale Railway in the preamble, there was mention made of the "1st station"

This was....Porth (1st station).

We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 528 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Port Victoria
It follows the line of the Hundred of Hoo Railway...A reminder that railway staff halts are not allowed
It then follows the line of the North Kent Line
It then follows the line of the London and Greenwich Railway
It then follows the line of the South Eastern Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the London and South Western Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Basingstoke and Alton Light Railway
It then follows the line of the Meon Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the West Coastway Line
It then follows the line of the Midhurst Railway
It then follows the line of the Arun Valley Line...link line only, no closed stations
It then follows the line of the Cranleigh Line
It then follows the line of the LSWR Guildford to Alton Line...via Tongham
It then follows the line of the Bordon Light Railway
It then follows the line of the Longmoor Military Railway...via Woolmer...which had passenger services at one time
The journey ends at the closed station of Liss (LMR)

The first closed station on this journey is Port Victoria
