I think that you would have to had taken the chord from the West Coastway line, then proceeded just past the bifurcated junction on the West Sussex Railway, but then reversed into that station to arrive at that terminus.

There was the far easier option on passing the bifurcated junction and arriving at....Hunston

The track plan I could find (admittedly only an old OS map) suggests that a reversal at Chichester (WSR) would be necessary. Anyway I wanted to travel in one of the railcars! (I even found a video of one running)

It then follows the line of the Mold Railway
It then follows the line of the Chester and Holyhead Railway
It then follows the line of the Chester and Crewe Railway
It then follows the line of the Whitchurch and Tattenhall Railway
It then follows the line of the Oswestry, Ellesmere and Whitchurch Railway
It then follows the line of the Oswestry and Newtown Railway
It then follows the line of the Llanidloes and Newtown Railway
It then follows the line of the Mid-Wales Railway
It then follows the line of the Neath and Brecon Railway
It then follows the line of the Vale of Neath Railway
It then follows the line of the Llanelly Railway and Dock Company
It then follows the line of the Vale of Towy Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Glanrhyd Halt

The first closed station on the journey is Dyserth
