We appear to have been visited by one of the Three Wise Men and Kings who has given us the gift of historical rail knowledge...
Taking the first matter on the Bolton and Leigh Railway, the two stations of Daubhill and the other station of Rumworth and Daubhill were on different alignments, so it is NOT possible to visit BOTH of them on the SAME journey.
Howsoever, the two Chequerbent stations were also on different alignments as you quite rightly state, so it is not possible to visit BOTH of them on the SAME journey.
Please refer to the rules of this particular quiz that are contained in the very first posting on this quiz. By means of an explanation, if two closed railway stations that were situated in different locations and ON THE SAME LINE are posted, these are said to be valid answers, examples being on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway....

There was also Portland Hospital Halt between the two stations. Shown as an untimetabled station it closed before 1940.

As Christmas and New Year are fast approaching, it is time to launch one of my monster-sized journeys...Note that the preamble states that three of the lines are link lines only with no closed stations upon them.
We now move to Scotland for the next journey...
This quiz is number 137 so far...
