We used the Swansea and Neath Railway for a short distance to access the Swansea District Line......I cannot trace a station called Cardonnel Road, but there was a small station on the Great Western Railway called Cardonnel Halt that closed in 1936, but this is not on the current route on the final leg of this journey to Pontarddulais.

This journey is now at an end.

It then follows the line of the Exeter to Plymouth line (Via Okehampton)
The journey ends at the open station of Plymouth

The first closed station on this journey is West Wycombe
