Sorry, but wasn't there a station at Sefton Park before Wavertree, or am I getting confused?

No, you are indeed correct and this station was situated between the currently open station of Mossley Hill and the closed station of Wavertree. I had this in my draft plans, for this journey, but I had tuned over my penultimate page of drafts too soon.

The station was opened in July 1891 as an adjunct to the new quadrupling of the line from Ditton Junction to Wavertree (the station that was the final station on the last journey.

My sincere apologies to all contestants on the last journey for my oversight. I do hope that this will not cause you to not to participate upon the newly-published journey...:oops:
