Oh - I thought the Little North-Western went to Sedburgh, but if we're going straight down the west-coast main line, then Milnthorpe.

Oh - I thought the Little North-Western went to Sedburgh

INFORMATION AS REQUSTED

The Ingleton Branch line that branched off the Little North Western Railway was opened in 1860. It went from Clapham, then through Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale, Barbon, Middleton-on-Lune, Sedburgh and then Lowgill, before joining the line of the Lancaster and Carlisle Railway, just south of Tebay.

Passenger services ceased on 30th January 1954, with the final line closure being in 1967.
