We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 1950 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Dalmellington
It follows the line of the Ayr and Dalmellington Railway
It then follows the line of the Maidens and Dunure Light Railway...via Alloway
It then follows the line of the Girvan and Portpatrick Junction Railway...via Pinmore
It then follows the line of the Portpatrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway...via Dunragit
It then follows the line of the Castle Douglas and Dumfries Railway...via Castle Douglas
It then follows the line of the Glasgow, Dumfries and Carlisle Railway...via Racks
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line...via Gretna...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Symington, Biggar and Broughton Railway...via Coulter
It then follows the line of the Peebles Railway...via Peebles (New)
It then follows the line of the Leadburn, Linton & Dolphinton Railway...via Lamancha
It then follows the line of the CR Dolphinton Branch Line...via Dolphinton (CR)
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line...via Carnwith
It then follows the line of the CR Wilsontown Branch Line...via Haywood
The journey ends at the closed station of Wilsontown

The first closed station on this journey is Dalmellington
