The journey starts at the closed station of Norton-on-Tees
It follows the line of the NER Durham Coast Line...via Gateshead
It then follows the line of the North Eastern Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Northallerton Railway
It then follows the line of the NER Harrogate to Church Fenton Line
It then follows the line of the York and North Midland Railway
It then follows the line of the North Midland Railway...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Lancashire, Derbyshire and East Coast Railway
It then follows the line of the Lincolnshire Loop Line...we leave this line in the Boston area
It then follows the line of the East Lincolnshire Railway
It then follows the line of the GCR/Grimsby Light Railway Ulceby Loop Line
It then follows the line of the GG&SJR Grimsby to New Holland Line
The journey ends at the closed station of New Holland Pier

Note: I think we could have claimed at least two of the three former main line stations at Pelaw. The first (1843 to 1857) and third (1897 to 1979) were close to each other but the second (1857 to 1897) was several hundred yards to the east. And all were separate from the Metro station which is on a parallel alignment to the south.

I agree that Pelaw (2nd station) should have been a posting

I also feel that Felling (1st station) which was shown as a posting should be disallowed as that 1st station location is so very near to the site of the currently open Felling Metro station.....In fact, it is already shown as one of the examples in Rule 4.

Just a quick thought. On the journey preamble,, it stated "via Gateshead". but there was a connecting line from the Durham Coast Line to the NER Main Line to the south of Gateshead.
