(Rule 3)....Stations that were closed....but then re-opened as a heritage railway facility are NOT allowed to be used on this quiz IF THEY WERE SITUATED OR CONSTRUCTED ON THE SAME SITE..... OSWESTRY, HORSEHAY AND DAWLEY, WHITWELL & REEPHAM, LEEK BROOK, RAWTENSTALL, RAMSBOTTOM, HEYWOOD, FINMERE, QUAINTON ROAD, SHILLINGSTONE, MIDSOMER NORTON, DIXTER HALT, INSTOW, BIDEFORD, KEITH TOWN, DRUMMUIR, DUFFTOWN and KIRKBY STEPHEN EAST are just some examples to have been deemed to be reopened heritage stations for the purposes of this quiz and as such, cannot be used in posting submissions.
In democracy-type terms: three votes for south of Keele, one for east-of (Wiki), and one abstention (Mr. I. Allan) !
The journey: heritage stuff now encountered; causing pondering. The Churnet Valley folks have given up on Oakamoor, lifting track from Kingsley and Froghall thereto; but perhaps this is seen as a notionally temporary situation?
I'll plump for Oakamoor ; rather feeling that I'll be wrong either way
!ADDENDUM: @Xenophon PCDGS -- I typed this post while you were making yours #74942, so failed to notice that one of yours. I think I get the message from yours, that Oakamoor should still count as "heritage"; but remain not totally certain of the protocol re "preserved, but then 'ditched' by the preservers". Can I leave it to you to throw Oakamoor out, if indeed appropriate?

Sorry to say, but Cheddleton, Consall, Kingsley and Frognall are all classified as "heritage stations".

We next move to England for the next journey.....
This is number 778 in the series so far.....
The journey starts at the closed station of Weston-Super-Mare Ashcombe Road
It follows the line of the Weston, Cleveland and Portishead Light Railway
It then follows the line of the Portishead Railway
It then follows the line of the Bristol and Exeter Railway...via Weston Junction...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Teign Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Moretonhampstead and South Devon Railway
It then follows the line of the South Devon Railway Company
It then follows the line of the Plymouth, Devonport and South Western Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the South Devon and Tavistock Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Shaugh Bridge Platform
