Long Ashton

The original station of Ashton (opened in 1852 according to BUTT was closed in 1856) and Long Ashton was built a short distance away

Assuming we don't take the Weston loop - Weston Junction - this station seems to have been on the main line at the junction with the original branch, not on the 1884 loop as suggested in the Wikipedia entry.

There was of course the option of Worle (1st station...1884-1922) that lay between the last two named stations.

Brampford Speke

Brampford Speke is the first station on the Exe Valley Line, unfortunately we need to leave the Bristol & Exeter Railway at Cowley Bridge Junction further down the route to traverse the Tarka Line (as it is now known) to reach Plymouth via Okehampton.

Well spotted, as we left the Exeter area to pass through the open stations of Exeter St Davids, Newton St Cyres , Crediton and Yeoford before we meet the first LSWR closed station on the next line, which is .....

Bow
