Kildwick and Crosshills is the final closed station on this long journey.

We now move to the northern area of England for the next journey...

This quiz is number 76 so far...

The journey starts at the open station of Carlisle
It follows the line of the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway..using the West Wylam loop line
It then follows the line of the East Coast Main Line
It then follows the line of the York and North Midland Railway
It then follows the line of the North Midland Railway
It then follows the line of the Lancashire, Derbyshire and East Coast Railway
It then follows the line of the Lincolnshire Loop Line
It then follows the line of the Northampton and Peterborough Railway
It then follows the line of the Bedford to Northampton line
It then follows the line of the Bedford to Hitchin line
The journey ends at the open station of Hitchin

The first closed station on this journey is Carlisle London Road
