Path is in for 810015 to be delivered to Etches Park on Friday (13/03/26)

Not heard much on the progress of 016 but I'd imagine that'll be not far behind
Well, unusual that Fridays move seems to be operated by ROG not GBRf, which every other time it was operated by ROG it has been cancelled. I’m not too optimistic about it leaving for that reason.

For the first time in several weeks, 810016 was seen today, positioned under external crane dragged by 08 shunter.

Also outside is 810018 being moved slowly by the Zephyr shunter undergoing bogie checks by the looks of it.

Next it’s a few week’s wait for 015 followed by that 016.

Looks like 014 is having a successful first day in service, no reported faults have occurred
Seems like 810014 had a fault at Sharnbrook this morning on the 832 St Pancras to Sheffield causing a 30 minute delay and is being turned around short at Chesterfield.

Edit: taken out of service at Chesterfield

810014 running 5Z67 back into Notts now, will resume service on 1B67 (which is currently earmarked as canned, but will once again run)

== Doublepost prevention - post automatically merged: ==

Aaaand 810014 is gone again, seems d to have failed at Luton on 1B67, was pulled from 1D66 from London, returning to Etches under 5Z66.

Yes, it seemed to pick up the issue between Luton and Harpenden. Ended up 12 late arriving in St Pancras. But somehow fit enough to travel to Etches Park empty - the rest of the diagram cancelled incuding the peak time 1805 to Nottingham!
Are these units really being tested well enough? Should this be happening on only its second day in service?

It is a bit concerning I have to say, even the units that are yet to carry passengers (008 + 009) have failed in the past, so clearly the carrying passengers can’t be blamed.

A lot of disruption on the MML at the moment, not fully sure why, EMR calling it an ‘operational incident’, but all I see are line blocks north of Bedford on the up and down slows, and that 810006 is running 45L due to these issues, and will now be calling additionally at Kettering and Market Harborough. 810010 isn’t yet caught up in this, is waiting at STP for the 2335 to Notts.

Someone I know was on a train that was terminated at Kettering after, they believe, train stopped beyond end of platform. But I can’t verify this so it may be duff gen or irrelevant.

05:49 NOT - STP which is a booked 810 has just left LEI worked by 222022 so i wonder if there has been a faulty unit.

Never known new trains with so many faults, Must be something really wrong with the construction systems, seems like following the 769’s not a day goes by without problems and it not getting better, or are some units now working properly.

Yes. 810014 has not come out to play today after suffering faults vyesterday.
810013 has not been out for a week. Last seen trundling around on a seemingly low power setting.
Fortunately EMR had 19 class 222's available so one appears to be filling in for the 810. But that still leaves two diagrams today not covered.
The delay repayments continue to add up!

Hopefully, expected to be 015.
THere are now six units struggle my to fill three diagrams.
Should EMR accept any more until it can be proven that they can arrive and operate reliably unlike 810014?

I noticed that the Aurora display at Nottingham station was removed recently (incidentally when I tried the hoop and buzzer game which was part of it a few weeks ago it was broken - sadly symbolic!). I wonder if the display was scheduled to be removed, or was actually removed prematurely because it was too embarrassing? There must be an increasing number of regular travellers who have been on an 810 which has failed and they've been chucked off...

Path is in for 810015 to be delivered to Etches Park on Friday (13/03/26)

Not heard much on the progress of 016 but I'd imagine that'll be not far behind
Let’s hope the deliveries is every 2 weeks instead of 2 months.

I think I saw one in Sheffield recently - the display kit - last Saturday IIRC

You must be forgetting the Overground 172s! Amongst many, many others.

810006 formed the 1550 Nottingham-St Pancras yesterday and was faultless throughout - we even arrived into London a few minutes early.

Fault free debut for 014 on Weds followed by 2 problems on Thurs and now again today. I know it's not like this but it almost seems like they send units out and hope for the best.

Any idea why units 10, 11, 12 or 13 cannot fill in? Do they all have faults? Only 006 out today.
010 has a brake fault I believe
011 has a long standing SDO fault restricting it to training runs
Not sure on 012/013
