Well, unusual that Fridays move seems to be operated by ROG not GBRf, which every other time it was operated by ROG it has been cancelled. I’m not too optimistic about it leaving for that reason.
Seems like 810014 had a fault at Sharnbrook this morning on the 832 St Pancras to Sheffield causing a 30 minute delay and is being turned around short at Chesterfield.
Yes, it seemed to pick up the issue between Luton and Harpenden. Ended up 12 late arriving in St Pancras. But somehow fit enough to travel to Etches Park empty - the rest of the diagram cancelled incuding the peak time 1805 to Nottingham!
Are these units really being tested well enough? Should this be happening on only its second day in service?

It is a bit concerning I have to say, even the units that are yet to carry passengers (008 + 009) have failed in the past, so clearly the carrying passengers can’t be blamed.

A lot of disruption on the MML at the moment, not fully sure why, EMR calling it an ‘operational incident’, but all I see are line blocks north of Bedford on the up and down slows, and that 810006 is running 45L due to these issues, and will now be calling additionally at Kettering and Market Harborough. 810010 isn’t yet caught up in this, is waiting at STP for the 2335 to Notts.

Someone I know was on a train that was terminated at Kettering after, they believe, train stopped beyond end of platform. But I can’t verify this so it may be duff gen or irrelevant.
Real-time train running information for 5Q57 0836 departure from Merchant Park Sidings to Etches Park Sdgs on 13/03/2026. From Realtime Trains, an independent source of train running info for Great Britain.
Never known new trains with so many faults, Must be something really wrong with the construction systems, seems like following the 769’s not a day goes by without problems and it not getting better, or are some units now working properly.
Yes. 810014 has not come out to play today after suffering faults vyesterday.
810013 has not been out for a week. Last seen trundling around on a seemingly low power setting.
Fortunately EMR had 19 class 222's available so one appears to be filling in for the 810. But that still leaves two diagrams today not covered.
The delay repayments continue to add up!
THere are now six units struggle my to fill three diagrams.
Should EMR accept any more until it can be proven that they can arrive and operate reliably unlike 810014?
I noticed that the Aurora display at Nottingham station was removed recently (incidentally when I tried the hoop and buzzer game which was part of it a few weeks ago it was broken - sadly symbolic!). I wonder if the display was scheduled to be removed, or was actually removed prematurely because it was too embarrassing? There must be an increasing number of regular travellers who have been on an 810 which has failed and they've been chucked off...

Fault free debut for 014 on Weds followed by 2 problems on Thurs and now again today. I know it's not like this but it almost seems like they send units out and hope for the best.
