I assume you mean 317-322, 313 (and 314/315/507/508) are very different.

I thought putting the class numbers down made my point clear (and I was only referring to units I'm familiar with):roll:

Told its a 5 car (not 002) before the next delivery in a fortnight which will be another 10 car with 002 and another unit.

Wi-Fi should have been on the 700s for sure. Tables were an issue that I actually feel had merit, relating to the high frequency service through the core. Perhaps an issue that doesn't affect other routes as much.

Power sockets; the same I suppose. All about not having people struggling to get out of their seat because someone in the aisle seat has taken out their laptop and plugged it in..

Nevertheless, I think now there has been a rethink of this anyway.

That's right, and that's why I couldn't understand the power sockets on the 707 for inner surburban either.!

I was trying to point out an error without being too obvious.

But seeing as that's your response: you're wrong. 313 is nothing like Mark 3-derived units.

Twas 707005 alone as per Class377/5's post. Brought by 47812 and 47 815 apparently. Would have arrived Clapham sometime soon after midnight I think.

Anyone know when testing is due to start? It's only 2.5 months to SWT's self-imposed deadline for the first ones entering service. Doesn't seem to allow much time for testing and training.

Mid February is the current plan, but all subject to change at the moment.

As a follow on design its not expected the 707s will have many issues. First moves will be happening fairly soon too.

First 707 in U.K. Under its own power was yesterday, depot moves at Clapham.

5X98 23+09 Dollands Moor to Clapham Yard seems to be the next delivery path

707s are now route cleared for quite alot of the swt network. Not all of it of course and with many restrictions currently. But they'll be out and about for testing soon enough.

It struck me as odd that they couldn't use the up or down fasts between WAT and CLJ, or the up fast at Wimbledon.

47812 & 47815 with 707002/006 apparently.

Not sure when they are going to head for Clapham, were supposed to last night but was cancelled.

Just seen a 707 at Wimbledon Depot about to go out on a test, didn't see the unit number however.
