Well I did just say some Oxford stoppers have been curtailed at Didcot and I thought that dropped a few hints
From about 4pm.
I can't find any, they all appear to be going to Oxford

Or 166 as the cascade hasn’t fully happened yet has it?

There are also Reading to Oxford 165 diagrams.
Fair enoughYes today, but none for tomorrow or Saturday.
Better than a 2 coach Turbo. I’ve been on one of those many times on that route.Wouldn't like to be on the 17:37 stopping service to Reading, looks like to be a single 3 coach Turbo!
Newbury terminating services should go over to 387s in Dec 2018.Once further electrification goes live in December 2018, will there be any more 387 diagrams or is it just that the IEPs will travel further on electric?
There were several booked ones between the peaks on weekdays, and I found that as long as it was a school day and there was no disruption, there was actually enough capacity. It was rare not to get a seat at Southall towards Paddington, although the Heathrow Connect a few minutes earlier helped. Having said that, there wasn't much slack to cover for a cancellation or disruption, so the extra capacity will be useful there.
But I can guarantee that my fellow passengers at Southall still won't use the full length of the train…always want to be nearest to the stairs at Southall and Ealing Broadway. Sometimes with evening peak Hayes & Harlington stoppers having unoccupied seats throughout towards the rear, while the front 2 coaches have no room to move.
I went down to Pangbourne to see the first 387 in passenger service on the way to Didcot this afternoon. Nice to see this finally happen, I think the first piling for the electrification in this area was nearly three years ago now...
Anyone got any videos on them on the Readings?
Based on porterbrook's brochure, they'll seat 219 in a 4 carHow many seats does a 4 car 387 have?
I'm onboard one now and it's absolutely packed! Standing room only.
I'm sure a 3 car turbo has more seats.

Wasn't that the soft-soft launch, using the existing timetable?I think the soft launch started on Thursday
It must be a Saturday service tomorrow, as Taplow gets half hourly trains. If a poster on the GW Coffee Shop forum is correct, and GWR can't get enough drivers with traction knowledge for tomorrow and Tuesday, expect Turbos to run in place of Electrostars.
