Do you have the RTT link for this please? Or if not, is it Clacton CSD or somewhere different it departs from?
Afternoon, I got this information from an official ROG email as I work in a location where we’re on their distribution list. The origin location shown was Clacton CSD.

Can't see any workings on RTT from that location to Wembley today so one to keep a check on for any visuals from anyone

Looks like plans are afoot for a farewell tour around Essex. No official details or times released just yet.

Or perhaps a professional view as to just how practical your opinion is.

Amusingly someone got on a 321 last week and said how posh it was for the Harwich branch.
People got on class 317s and commented on how comfy the seats were. And they were fairly battered by the end. There's clearly plenty of normals out there that don't think the class 720s are anything special. Unless there are loads of 20 year old female class 317 bashers?

There was a suggestion a while back that 321s would operate Barrhead and East Kilbride when electrified. Is there any indication of some being retained for this purpose?

The units being stored at Wembley, they don’t seem to be making any movements. They’re pan up and cut in. However you’d have thought they’d have been getting leg stretcher moves to keep everything turning wouldn’t you?

I wonder if consideration was given to 321s over 319s on northern?

It has been said there is enough capacity available in Scotland from the current emu fleet.
There are 5 available units spare at Yoker CS in warm storage, which will probably release either Class 380 or 385 as the 318/320 are DOO where as the 380/385 can be either DOO or guard operated

I meant at any point.
Yes, I don't think the timings would make any consideration of 321s relevant to Northern. The 323 plan has been in place for some time and broadly results from both being Porterbrook fleets.

The Renatus contract for 30 units was announced in July 2015 when the Greater Anglia franchise outcome was unknown. https://www.railforums.co.uk/thread...-£60m-class-321-refurbishment-project.116589/. The Greater Anglia franchise commenced in October 2016.

Northern 323s were expected to go to the West Midlands https://www.railforums.co.uk/thread...troduction-updates.128808/page-2#post-2741613 until that franchise began, but that reversed when 730s were procured instead for the West Midlands.

I'm not next in the UK until June, so I'll miss a final ride which is a bit of a shame, but it is admittedly past time.

No, there are only 3 diagrams per day now. The rest will just be waiting their turn in the handback process.
Ok, thanks.
