319381 and 319384 have been delivered to Allerton.

319384 operated the 1802 and 2109 journeys Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime Street, yesterday, Thursday 16 November 2017. If it worked the full duty it would have been an Allerton start, first public journey 0620 Lime Street to Manchester Victoria.
I'm not saying that yesterday was necessarily its first day in service, but I don't think it's been previously reported.

It would need more overhead wiring to run more electric ONLY trains.
Bi mode is the current DfT ect thinking and Northern are getting 3 more 769's probably from the 319/4 sub class.

319 385 was today hauled from Wolverton to Allerton, that just leaves 319 458 to come for Northern. This has also been updated on the list. It also leaves 319 005/007/427 at Wolverton homeless. Shouldn't these be at Long Marston unless ATW want these units?

The initial Class 769s will be converted from 319/4 units, so I'd imagine 319427 is the only possibility for ATW's batch of 769s out of those three.

Out of interest, does anyone know which units are for ATW/the extra three units for Northern?

Might be having some work done on them to keep them serviceable I would assume, like 319421 did back in August. Don't think these would be going to Arriva Trains Wales since the 319 FLEX project is only for the 319/4's.
Good to see 319220 back out, last I saw this was behind 37884 at Harrow and Wealdstone heading for Long Marston. I'm hoping Southern will take this one lol.

319012 and 220 are coupled at Crewe. 220 is pan up, all interior lights on and destination scrolling something. 012 is pan down though with a red flashing tail light on the back.

There was a 323 in the shed too at Crewe so could well be that. Certainly no 319s at Soho as I'm.going past now!

There are slight differences in the mk 3 bodyshell , sole bar and closure plate thickness , pillar types , pillar positions, pillar stiffners , door way sheer plates , front and rear crash pillars , underframe floor bearer layouts , roof carline posistions , the list is quite long , the mk3 hst / lhcs is very different in construction , different profile inner and outer solebar , a corrugated floor , they all share the same roof hatch though , even if it has pressure ventilation fans fitted

Apparently 6 more Class 319's are to follow 319012 and 319220 to LNWR. Good to see more of the 319's being taken out for storage. Was hoping we get a few here on Southern but quite a lot of Class 377's have been freed from the Horsham line diagrams converted to Thameslink.

Can anyone confirm if any of 319385, 319442 or 319458 are in service yet?

There's eleven due to converted for Northern now, it was eight previously.

As Mark Corrigan once said, "Chance Would Be A Fine Thing!"

Realistically, they'll probably augment the current diagrams so that the maximum number of them can be run at any one time on a diagram (I'm assuming a max of 8 cars out of Euston, though I'm willing to be corrected). Bear in mind that they probably won't go in service beyond Northampton (being based at Kings Heath) and are definitely not cleared to run north of Rugby.

When it comes to catering for bashers, train planners are a soulless bunch. (told me first hand by a basher employed as a train planner)
