Like the GN 313s? 40 years old and in virtually original condition apart from seats replaced in the 1990s. And this is on a profitable franchise.

"London" vs. "anywhere else" arguments are really not accurate.

Add the GN 317s to that, although they didn't even get new seats, just seat covers! They're slowly making their way to Greater Anglia where they are still only being refreshed..

These arguments always make me laugh as they're just not true

Not all of them don't forget! Only the ex WAGN ones had their seats replaced, the ex Sliverlink Metro units still retain their original seats and initially bought NSE back down the Northern City line for a short period.

From what it looks like, the London Midland units haven't really seen that much of a refresh anyway. Remember that the last seven 321s were still sporting a NSE interior when they departed.

I recall when the LM franchise started the MD wrote a statement included in all the printed timetables saying about how they'll be a lot of new trains and the older trains which remain will be getting refurbished. Even the 350/1s are overdue a refresh.

Actually it was a Silverlink interior but you are more a less right and I agree those 350/1's and /2's could do with some attention!

It was you that said white!
Yes, I was referring to my own comment of saying "white"!! I unfortunately could not alter my original comment as you quoted it for your reply as I realise it is not white but off white / very light grey.

Good to see the Channel Tunnel units 319008 "Cheriton" and 319009 "Coquelles" have still survived. Will try to get some pics before they're gone!

They lost their special name plates years ago though. I hope the NRM managed to get hold of them.

I believe Coquelles still has a nameplate near the toilet, although it's lost the Union Jack/Tricolore

Cheriton also has some sort of sticker/thing, although it looks far inferior to the original

Kind of sad to think that the 319's will soon be gone from TL forever ?????? I hope another operator picks them up soon as I can see them getting scrapped if no one picks them up in a year or so

I apologise if this has been missed already, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I still have 319003/8 and 319426, 319430/5/6/7/8/9 and 319440/4/5/6/7 as being ThamesLink branded, and I'm assuming all of the units now off lease have had their ThamesLink branding removed as well?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. :)

Just wonder when the 700s will get the new logo. They dont seem to be hurrying around to do that.
