Rode 319.008 and 447 today which will be gonners by next weekend. Guessing Cricklewood will be full of stored 319's once the resident 700s start earning their keep

I guess they'll be towed off to Long Marston pretty rapidly. Theres a path for Monday from Hornsey to Long Marston. Not sure if that's 319s but could be as theres a few Cricklewood to Hornseys in the system before then but they look more like 700 test paths to be honest.

I'm glad I took a trip down to London when I did, that's all I can say...

Haven't seen a single 319 in service on the Catford Loop this morning (though 444 + another one are in Bellingham sidings)

I haven't ridden one for years, I'm pleased to say. The seats were the worst designed I have ever come across - impossible to sit without clashing knees against the person opposite.

Thanks for the gen! Can you confirm whether my records are correct in that the ones which will remain are:

319001/002/006/007/009/010/011, 319217/220, and 319426/432/435/436/440/443/444/445/446/449/459? Thanks.

An informed posting in another place says the four going off lease next weekend will take the total remaining with Thameslink down from 22 to 18. If that is correct then two of those you list must already have gone. I did have a question mark down against 432 & 445, but that is only because I have not seen them in recent weeks which of course is not the same thing as saying that they are off lease.

I saw 432 at City Thameslink on Saturday.
Can anyone confirm which 319's have departed for storage today?

Maybe related for this, I saw a Class 37 hauling at least 2 319s through Bletchley around 11:20 or so. Was too far away to get the numbers. Anyone know what they were?

Why is 319 455 being replaced at LM , just out of interest

Unreliability ?

Not 2020 compliant and London Midland were able to replace it with 433 which had been refurbished and was available for use.
