Hi folks,
Apologies if this has been covered anywhere else, but a search has shown nothing.
Do the class 314 units still operate Inverclyde services? If so, does anyone know of the services they are booked to operate? I am planning to get as many as possible for haulage in March/April and don't really want to spend all day on the Cathcart Circle.

Thanks,
Alex

I had 314216 on the 1825 from Whinhill to Wemyss Bay on 15th December 2014. 14th December 2014 I had two pairs of 314s on Inverclyde runs, the 1750 ex-GLC and 1820 I believe from Bishopton to GLC.

Whether these are booked or not I can't help with but might be worth a look.

Thanks Techniquest. The 1825 Whinhill - Wemyss Bay has been noted, 1755 off Glasgow it would appear.
The other two, after a quick look on Realtime Trains, appear to not run anymore? Not sure if that had anything to do with the December timetable change or not

I'll keep my eyes peeled for any more.

EDIT: Just realised the 14th was a Sunday! That'll be why I couldn't find them. Either way, Sundays are no good to me, the only day of the week I'm guaranteed to be working!

1755 bay is always a 314.
0826, 1025, 1225, 1425 should also be 314s, as should the 1555 be SO.
Also the first gourock from glasgow is a pair of 314s that split SX.

Interesting to know the 1755 to t'Bay is booked a 314, which I didn't know at the time. Imagine my surprise then at Whinhill when 314216 rolled in on it!

Yup.
That one is an oddball as it comes off a Cathcart circle diagram. Most inverclyde diagrams for 314s are self contained.

Would anyone be able to identify for me which services south/west of Paisley are booked 314s please?

I'm assuming the majority are 380s plus the odd 156 for Stranraer/Kilmarnock.

If you read my post above that will give you a flavour of what's booked.
The first Glasgow to Gourock is a pair of 314s that split and form two peak trains back up.
You then have 1 fast diagram that day that works express gourocks during the daytime. A 314 also runs on the 1755 and 2236 (fsx) to Wemyss Bay. The unit on the 2236 stables here overnight.
It is possible for the 380s to step up vice 314s if they are short on availability.
