Not quite, 114 has been swapped for 108.

They're still at Cardiff and Chester, but it is hoped to move them to Plymouth and Long Rock.

Cheers! I'lll keep an eye out for when it arrives!

Doesn’t look like it’s going to make it to Laira for some reason. Only for as far as Leicester (unless there is a subsequent working that I haven’t spotted.)

Seems to be stuck at Wigston on Traksy.

There have been severe signal issues at Wigston collapsing the service through Leicester all day. I reckon it'll be to do with that. The line is open now so it could move on shortly

RTT now showing at Croft
Remarkably, and showing how much padding there is in this service, it appears to be about to arrive nearly an hour and a half early, making up for its 259 minute (nearly 4 and a half hours) late departure.

Can I just check what the current formation of these units is.
Understand that 001-007, 009-011 and 102-116 are as is.
But what is the formation of 008 and 101 at the moment?

Thanks David

misforms at removal from TFW. Don't know if any have been restored to correct formation during handover work.

Both sets at Laira were just about visible from passing trains on the main lines today although photographs are nigh on impossible with other stock parked nearby and encroaching vegetation.

Are they doing it at Widnes?
I guess if it is for refurb/refit its due to it being an alstom depot with some spare capacity.

Don't shoot messenger......
1× 2 car and 1 x 3 car for familiarisation for staff at LA.
The rest should be made fit for service at Manchester before being LA based for service for June timetable.
Then the 2 at LA will be the last to enter service.
No livery details yet.
002 already at LA . 3 car due this week

Made fit for service could just mean if they need any mechanical work, a deep clean and the pa system updated. Doesn't inherently mean a livery or full refurbishment. In fact I'd expect a refresh instead of refurb given the work was only recently completed.

Other than Barnstaple and Okehampton lines (eventually)
These routes will be the first two for class 175 deployment (releasing 150s for Newquay and 158s for Portsmouth) along with HST replacement in Cornwall in May 2025.

Will some of them also replace IETs on shorter runs?

Between Exeter and Penzance, yes. To my understanding that is the core element of their deployment, although from the sound of it there is still some debate about what the first priority is. My source is telling me the early withdrawal of HSTs is the priority. Perhaps there are multiple options being developed to respond to whatever circumstances prevail.

Okehampton still seems like such a waste, but I appreciate the reasons.

Why? It’s a thriving route with (in most cases) a single stop at Crediton on the 35-minute journey to Exeter, so the layout of the train suits the stopping pattern.

Some of the peak time trains from and to Okehampton are often needing more capacity than a 2 car 150 unit.
With the opening in early 2026 of Okehampton Interchange there will be further growth in the traffic, increasingly the time saving alternative railhead to Tiverton Parkway for West Devon and much of Cornwall.
The question is just how much growth there will be.
With 5 additional Padd/Pgn trains planned by a new Operator there must surely be some consideration needed to start one from Okehampton for Paddington in the morning and return there in the afternoon.
Torbay can’t justify 5 extra daily through trains to and from Paddington.
