168113 came into the depot today and is sat in the usual location for a departing move.

I am on the depot tomorrow taking traction exams so will know what unit/combination of arrive on the depot from refurb

Its been sat on the road just outside of the depot pretty much ever since it got back. It was moved into the depot for a few weeks but is back outside of it now, blocked in by the broken halves of 165018 & 024.

Oh fairs. Is it probably just gonna become parts donor for the rest of the fleet, or is that not needed yet?

Thankfully I don't think the 168s are at that point where they'd need a parts donor yet. The 165s obviously do (Cough, 165003), but not the 168s. I expect they're just waiting on some final parts to get 329 working again. 165004 was out for quite a while after it came back before going back into service.

Sorry maybe silly question, reading this would appear no units are in refurbishment (perhaps I’m just being a pedant ), and 004 /218 are just waiting delivery? Are other units in refurbishment?

It's not due to leave yet so we won't know until it does. The path to Crewe hasn't been activated yet either.

217 isn't out either and hasn't appeared to have been for the past few days, although it wasn't in Banbury a few days ago, so presumably its at Aylesbury.

168218 still isn't back in service yet but was finally out today, doing ECS runs between Aylesbury & Harrow on the Hill.

that was us. We were using the unit for trainees first drives on mainline. A path we regularly use. They wanted to send 8218 on test runs and we made it there and back with no issues all occasions.

It's possible it moved back at some point during the month, there were a few Aylesbury/Banbury and vice versa moves during the month. It definitely went straight to Aylesbury first though, although it's possible that was more to move 168113 than anything else.

Not exactly a big update on 168329 but it's now in the branch siding at Aylesbury, blocked in by the two broken halves of 165018/024 and 038 with a broken headlight.

Usually whenever something it put in that siding it stays there for quite a while unfortunately.
