Class 139 at Stourbridge

I have to disagree with earlier replies. The 139's can sometimes be seen out together. Me and my son were there on 28th October (a Tuesday) and 139001 was running up and down the branch. When we got back up to Stourbridge Jcn 139002 had come out of the shed and was parked in the platform. My son was desperate to get to Stafford so we did not stay for long but 001 was still plying up and down when we left.

Yes they may be both out of the shed at the same time, but they won't be in passenger service together

I wouldn't call that buzzing sound a "thrash".

Maybe the wrong term - still, would love to see what they could do when not restricted to a line with a low speed restriction and some of the worst track known to man!
