Who remember this one!
Class 117/ 305 at Rowley in 1992.
There was also a Western region 116(?) that carried a bright yellow BT advert around the time this set was repainted.
Was there not a bubble painted in choc and cream as well for the GWR 150?
that 117 spent it's last days in Cornwall, based at Plymouth Laira I think until at least 1995 or even into '97. It is featured in a video I have working the St.Ives branch in summer '94 with one Driving Motor car attached to a 2-car NSE liveried 101 making a most striking hybrid. Perfect for a trip along such a scenic coastal branch!![]()

Here it is at a Reading open day, about 1986-87:
How many old photo albums are going see the light of day now???????????????
If we're not careful, we could end up in some photo album poker game:
"I'll see your choc and cream 117 and raise you a bubble car"
Hey presto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lmfao!!!!!!!

- The 'Mexican bean' Class 104?
- The South Yorkshire PTE Class 114?
