Cardiff Bay strikes me as being a possibility, although I would expect that someone can beat that.
This is a toughie, you can even get to Thurso with only 1 change (albeit with an 11 hour wait).

But the train goes to Cardiff Bay instead of running from it, and, thus there is no connection to/from London - only from the Swansea direction! Or am I missing something?
It requires a rather long wait from the previous night. OJP does list this combination.
