Thank you for your answer, what should I put in total savings? Will they check my bank?
You need to tell the truth. If you try and conceal savings then they will find out and it will then be worse.
Just tell the truth.

If they've asked you to declare how much savings you have (again, probably a factor in how they calculate the fine) then you'll need to tell the court exactly how much money you have in total in any savings. I'm not sure if they check your bank accounts, but again as per @AlterEgo's reply above (and @ikcdab - thanks!) you need to make sure you tell the truth otherwise you'll be in much more trouble than you are now.

Should I disclouse the amount in my bank?
You need to answer the questions you were asked, honestly, and truthfully. You are in enough trouble already without adding to it by lying.

I don't know what questions you were asked because the post with the paperwork seems to be missing. If you were asked about savings, you must answer truthfully. If you were not asked about savings, you do not need to proactively talk about them.

Thank you so much. I just need clarification on this part

I presume the OP is asking about the offences "taken into consideration"?

You are charged with one offence (a minor one in UK law) and that is all that you will ge found guilty of in court (it is a "non-recordable" offence, but if you are asked you need to tell an employer or similar about it).

You are also being asked to admit to all those other times you didn't pay your fare.
If you do so, it may increase the amount of your income the magistrates decide to fine you (within their rules!), on top of the £846 in avoided fares. But you are not being prosecuted separately for them, and it will be an end to the matter.

Unless you think the number of journeys they have claimed for is wildly wrong, you should plead guilty.

Thank you so much for this, this made may questions clear.

I will plead guilty for all, for my sake of closing this case. And yeah i know to my self that I am guilty, I will not try to check the numbers i dont want it to be more complicated. I am just afraid that I might go to jail for this, but thank you for all your help.

On the savings, there is a bit of ambiguity on what it actually means. Not all the money in the bank is saving, if it is earmarked for a specific legal obligation.

So having £10,000 in bank and rent arrears of £6,000 puts you in a net £4,000 position.

At this point, nothing prevents you from paying off all your credit cards, loans, financing / vehicle leases etc etc such that the disposable amount is negligible. As they were all legal liabilities, you will have committed nothing wrong in paying them and remaining with nothing in the bank.

Although given that the maximum fine is £1,000, this might be a disproportionate response.

As far as I know the court will only want to know your earnings, not what you have in the bank
There is some parts in the paper that says "are you able to pay within 14 days? If not needs to declare all the monthly outgoings including savings in the bank.

Isn’t that because they don’t like doing payment plans ( which people then default on) not because they are asking about your wealth as in how much you have in savings?

If you are able to pay in 14 days they want you to do so. If not they want you to prove why you can’t pay it. So if you can’t pay it then yes it seems you need to declare your savings and outgoings.

I hope I have this correct.

shell07 , What happened after replying to TFL. What was the reply you got from TFL.

If you have a problem please start your own thread: please read the general advice before doing so. No two problems are exactly the same and good advice for one can be bad for another.

We cant give advice on immigration / visa matters as that is a regulated profession.

So is law!

The reason we can’t give immigration advice is because we don’t know anything about it. Facebook has lots of expat groups which can give shared experiences about renewing visas and leave to remain, perfectly legally.

But the law was passed because some of the various groups and individuals offering advice didn’t know enough about the subject, however plausible they might appear. Some were honest and good, some were honest but incompetent, some were dishonest and incompetent: some were just out to take money from those needing advice. You should, in your own interest, ONLY use an advisor found via the link in #80.

Thank you so much for all your reaponses, my court appearance will be on Nov 4, and I am scared to death to the point that I keep on vomiting everytime I think of it. My mental health is really messed up. Do you have any advises what to do in court.

Take a trusted friend to give you moral support. Stay as clam as you possibly can. Have you visited your GP to see if they can provide some mental well being support?

Just remember this will not be life changing. It is something you can and will get through.

Do not hesitate to call your GP about this. Discuss this (in outline) with the surgery reception staff, they may be able to fix an appointment with someone who can help you. There are quite a few practical things that can help, here is an entry point for you:

This has some information:
You could go to the court, perhaps next week, just to observe.

The actual hearing for this type of offence will be brief and no big deal so try not to worry.

If you pay it all in one go it’s done and dusted. But if you can’t afford that you can ask to pay in instalments I believe. However you MUST stick to the payment plan and not miss any payments if you do that.

You may be there an hour, you could be all day, it depends on what happens on the day, there's no way of knowing in advance. I would just say make sure you get there on time.
