Why am I banging my head on the table over this thread. Is it because Nick cannot actually twig that Snapper puts his actual name in every post that he posts? Is it because Nick contradicts himself more times than the Labour Government. Is it because someone was mentioned the words Method Statement and I should be doing that rather than posting on here

but very helpful all the same, seriously though Peter do you think you could be a dear and keep any posts of a personal insult nature off line, theres a good lad, I`m sure other members dont really want to be subjected to any of this type of stuff do they, and its not really what these sites are about, I appreciate this is an immotive subject but we can still discuss things in a gentlemanly manner, dont you think ? thanks, As for controdicting myself, yes it may appear like this at times, in fact I probably do at times, you`ve got me there I`m not actually perfect, (shock horror), but I do try to view things from all sides and all angles, I`ve never found a narrowed vision very helpful to me personally, but no matter, you have email peter.

I've been reading this thread very closely and frankly Nick279, you seem to think that you own it. Everybody is entitled to their views and opinions, including Snapper or in fact any member of the forum. I personally don't agree with some of your views, but that doesn't mean I go and attack them, I would try to unravel their argument through sensible debate. Additionally, you're not a moderator, and its clearly stated in the rules of the forum that backseat moderating is not permited. I (or another member of the team) will decide what is or isn't suitable for a public discussion.

Now, can we end the sniping there and get back to the discussion. Thanks

I think you are aiming your post a little lower than my actual age.

The sad thing is that when Paul puts a pov forward you ignore but when another member rewords it you accept it.

With the regards to the overnight ban, I suggest you have an email and chat face to face with the station supervisor and her management to gain the privilege back

I think you will find that the arguments will go back to insurance and risk (ironically paraded as Health and Safety).

Not at all, as they say, it takes two to tango, and there are several people here (and you know who you all are) who are trying to create arguments. Don't take it so personally, I'm just trying to keep the thread civil. I just feel like some of your comments are a little provocative. I didn't say nobody else was at fault. As has already been said being able to stand about on a station all day is a privilege, not a right. Unfortunately the actions of one have caused (or at least been a catalyst towards) those privileges to be revoked. Perhaps, as has already been stated more than once, we should see what becomes of Snapper's query with Virgin's press office before sending the station manager at Carlisle a list of stoaty demands.

I feel I have little option but to reply again to posts on this thread, but hopefully this will be for the last time. I’ve just noticed you replay Max to the email you suggested I send, apologies I didn’t realise you’d posted it, I will endeavour to answer it though as honestly as I can. With regard to the site being lenient, I really wouldn’t have a clue, this is the only site of this kind I have joined and it was only by chance I found it anyway. I’ve only been on the site for a relatively short time though, I was moderated on my first day for apparently bringing up an old post and I was moderated yesterday by yourself Max for replying to a post I found inappropriate and of a personal nature, in addition you told me my posts were provocative, I was being a backseat moderator and I owned the post, the latter to are a little lost on me and I consider myself lucky not to have stumbled on a site less lenient or it would have been likely I would have been moderated whist logging in ha ha. I have absolutely no issues with any of the above, the site works well like this for those on board, but it give me a clear message that it’s not the site for me. I have however enjoyed meeting members, and thank you for allowing me the input; the site would however be too restrictive for my rantings and ravings. So I’ll stick to the sites that have got use to me

I would also like to thank Peter for a lovely email, to which I will reply privately later in the day, thanks you Peter very nice words. Now I really would like this to be my last post, so if anyone would like to comment further I would appreciate it if you could contact me directly, I have send my email to Max, many thanks again and have an excellent year.
