Yeah but what's the mileage??You could always bash the People Mover to the Airport and back twice to get both vehicles in for haulage, that would kill time![]()

The Cal Sleeper one is indeed an error, will be fixed shortly.I presume it's a glitch but anyone else getting Blyth Bebside in the dropdown menu on the website?

The lowland Sleeper is cancelled tonight due to the landslip and derailment at Shap.
They're letting people stay on the train in Euston overnight, then have ticket acceptable with Lumo only.
would need an earlier departure from Glasgow so would need Platform 10 sooner, hard to organise that at short noticeIt seems the highlander is running but via east Coast. Why cant they do that with the lowlands. Im sure theres a simple answer and im already dreading the answer.

same with arrival on Platform 1 ableit that depends on if AWC will be running anything
It takes a lot of resource to staff this train, maybe at short notice they can only staff the Highlander? It seems the highlander is running but via east Coast. Why cant they do that with the lowlands. Im sure theres a simple answer and im already dreading the answer.
Why not have the lowlander depart from Platform 1 or 2 instead? Its unlikely they'll be occupied given the disruption.would need an earlier departure from Glasgow so would need Platform 10 sooner, hard to organise that at short notice

Have they got available resource to staff the Lowlander on a short notice diversion? Why not have the lowlander depart from Platform 1 or 2 instead? Its unlikely they'll be occupied given the disruption.
They will have the staff trained on it as ECML diversions are a regular planned occurance for them.Pleased that they are running the Highlander via the East Coast and haven't taken the easy option of cancelling this.
CS do make an effort - More than most other TOCs?
Even when the WCML is closed?Presumably they have an agreement with Lumo for the carriage of larger luggage in excess of what Lumo normally permit?
I can see the sense in that, though. The early London-Scotland Lumo service is the first arrival in Scotland from London and is likely to be fairly quiet as it's against the main flow and early.
For CS read GBRf. A company with a can-do attitude (which comes from the top).Pleased that they are running the Highlander via the East Coast and haven't taken the easy option of cancelling this.

Lumo!?!?! You have to be joking. The lowland Sleeper is cancelled tonight due to the landslip and derailment at Shap.

No LNER or anybody else.
Very unfortunate timing, and LNER are somewhat busy and distracted to say the least, but
It would appear that the southbound Lowlander portions are heading to their pick up points, with the Glasgow portion pathed to run to Edinburgh. Presumably they will provide accommodation here for passengers to then carry on their journey tomorrow morning.
Northbound or southbound? What happened to the Highlander sleeper last night. Their website seems to suggest only the Aberdeen piece left but then still says delayed and hasn't arrived yet?
