What's going on with C2C this morning? Delays of over an hour with no lights or heating reported on Twitter - a lot of angry people!

That's not good. I'm not an expert by any means on the franchise situation, but I assume that Nat Ex will continue to operate C2C after they hand over NXEA? A lot of people on Twitter are rejoicing that C2C will get a new operator but I didn't think it would...
All OHL continually tripping Fenchurch Street - Country side of Upminster and Tilbury, all units required to lower pans.According to National Rail it's overhead wire problems at Fenchurch Street.

Could any company mess up such a franchise?
Tomonthetrain You missed the point, like completely. jonmorris's post was a reply saying how good c2c are according to PPM and passenger satisfaction. He replied saying basically that that isn't hard to achieve when it comes to c2c are really nothing should go wrong as it is that easy to run, so could any company, however bad, do anything to ruin it!

Alternatively, it actually needs bloody good management when every train forms a much higher percentage of the figures...
British Rail...? Or is everyone's memory suddenly so short?

I'm not knocking NX here, but asking a simple question on the same basis that I ask the same of other TOCs like FCC. They've done a good job on the GN side, but on the TL they're hated... yet I'd ask the same question; could any company have done better with a franchise that has pretty much had the Thameslink project in operation from day one until its end?
