C Stock (and A Stock before) do not visit Acton Works for stripping. Very little is recovered before the trains are sent from Hammersmith to Northwood.

Casual observations from today for sets not seen in the last two days noted 5585 + 5512 + 5592 on Train 210, and 5716 + 5584 + 5599 on Train 262, both of which are consistent with the observations in Post 122.

Does anyone know whether the following four units are still fit and healthy: 5503 (last noted in this thread on 5th April), 5527 (13th January), 5556 (13th April), 5708 (13th January)?

Those units were all withdrawn in May. 5527 and 5556 ran to Northwood (with unit 5530) on 20th May, and 5503 and 5708 (with 5589) on 3rd June.

The only units that aren't known to have been withdrawn and haven't been seen this month are:
5534 - 17th July
5551 - 22nd July
5552 - 17th July
5554 - 10th August

One of these probably went to Northwood on 6th September with 5507 and 5587.

6725 was the first to be removed yesterday using the roads in the LTM Depot for level access, have been split and shunted into place off juice into their pairs on respective roads. Have a photo somewhere of 6725 being loaded onto the low loader. Came out really gloomy on the phone camera though...

Those who still need some C Stock units for haulage should act quickly; no less than 24 units ( 8 rakes ) are to be withdrawn on the weekend of 2nd / 3rd November.

( This presumably means there will be a "big bang" of 6 or 7 additional S7 diagrams from that weekend onwards ).

Those units were all withdrawn in May. 5527 and 5556 ran to Northwood (with unit 5530) on 20th May, and 5503 and 5708 (with 5589) on 3rd June.

I saw 5708 at Eastleigh on june 5th, I also caught the arrival of 5589 on an Alleleys truck:

I noticed only one C stock in service yesterday, on a clockwise Circle line service at Tower Hill. Otherwise, it's all S stock.

They are getting increasingly rare on my daily commute via Farringdon - won't miss them as much as the A stock though. Good solid workhorses though.

Wonder if there will be a final tour - way back they used to work on the Met Main - reaching Amersham in service a few times ....
