The fact the big reveal was a massive cliche for this genre, was no real surprise, and telegraphed pretty heavily from episode 3?, right down to the hammy facial expressions of the heroine.
Silver linings? The most irritating clichéd characters were killed off in the order I was hoping and praying they would be removed from my screen.
Even the (not exactly innovative) real time feature wasn't really utilized properly. One suspects it was deployed solely to give the necessary dead time to deliver the required political points.
