Was my last Hoover for haulage. Oxford to Paddington on 2nd September 1989.

40 165 was always 'my' machine, as she was - as D365 - the last one to carry green livery with small yellow warning panels and was a regular performer on the Glasgow-Aberdeen route when I started travelling on my own or with friends back in the 'seventies.
