Am I just being unlucky or do ticket barriers just not get on well with Aztec codes (the ones you scan at the readers, mainly found on the paper tickets).
At Leeds 'Reject passback' seems to appear as soon as you've scanned any part of your ticket just once, even if a return or involving a connection
Trying an open return today, scanning the return portion to allow me to resume the journey just displayed 'Ticket expired' so it is obviously just basing the read on the date of the outward portion!
Given up now and just show any paper tickets to the gateline staff!
