Hi,
I was just wondering what people’s thoughts are on this delay repay claim I made and whether it is worth pursuing.
I was travelling from Euston to Salford Crescent via Manchester Piccadilly, with the Euston train running about 40 minutes late. as a result of this, I missed my booked connection at 2002 and instead had to get the 2102, arriving on time at Salford Crescent.
Avanti suggest the claim is only for 39-59 minutes, however I think this is clearly a case of a 60 minute delay.
Please see the attached from RTT showing the timetable and actual for both. What do people think, who is right?
Thanks a lot in advance.
