Quick question

Is the Saturday 1738 Cardiff to Swansea (swanline) and return at 1910 booked pacer or 150? I only ask as yesterday it was a pacer and wondered if this was just cover or officially booked as a pacer.

I know a few weekdays 150s diagrams in Swansea are booked for a pacer on Saturday including 1 to Pembroke Dock

On some Saturdays I've seen it a pair of 150s but yesterday it was indeed a 142.

I have often seen it as a 150 and 153. I guess it depends whats available. Fortunately I went on the 1900 from Swansea which was a 2 car 175. :D

ATW Class 153 working over strange ground today. An ATW 153 has today been to Birmingham International working attached to a 158 to and fro from Wrexham due to service alterations in connection with Engineering Work which closed the line between Wrexham and Chester. It's usual place on the Shrewsbury to Wolverhampton all stations shuttle was covered by 175006.
Before anybody asks, they have been there before on rare occasions so not new ground.

This results in all passengers being turfed out the arriving trains from INTl and the Cambrian who then fight past each other between platform 4 & 5 at Shrewsbury in scenes reministant of the Partition of India so that the EtCS fitted 158's stay on the Cambrian and the 150 or 153 goes back to Brum.
